This project consisted of a 29,000 SF creative office space tailor made for the tenants’ every day operations, from sales and HR to marketing and product development. This space features custom curved soffits, sliding cork pin-up wall, luxury break area with custom booths and baffles, custom entryway with warm white oak stair treads, and product showcase room featuring paint gradient ceiling and feature lighting. C2 worked very collaboratively with Reef and ID Studios to meet the overall vision of the project within project budget constraints. C2 attended early design meetings to provide budget feedback in parallel with the design progression to eliminate rework and meet the desires for the project. It is the new headquarters for Reef and currently C2 is working on the site amenities scope of work which features patio areas for working outdoors and hosting company events.

After completing the interior improvements, REEF engaged C2 to complete the exterior upgrades at their corporate headquarters building in Carlsbad. The scope of work included 3 exterior sprawling decks finished in black locust deck material, cast-in-place concrete monument wall, steel canopies surrounded by landscape for privacy, new oversized pivot entry door, full new exterior lighting package and entryway signage, new 10’x10’ roll up door to connect the interior and exterior break areas, and all new landscape around entire property. C2 worked hand-in-hand with Reef and ID Studios to blend the exterior upgrades with the newly finished interior to meet the overall vision of their corporate headquarters facility. Despite being fully occupied, C2 worked with REEF and its staff to minimize business interruptions throughout the course of construction while simultaneously delivering this project on time and on budget.
